Every year, at the end of August and into early September, a breathtaking transformation occurs in the Nevada desert. A flat, desolate expanse known as the Black Rock Desert becomes the vibrant, temporary city of Black Rock City—home to one of the most extraordinary human experiences on Earth: Burning Man.
